Light is invisible to the human eye until it collides with an object. What we see is the impact of the light on a surface. The facade of the Memorial Picture Gallery in Tokyo becomes the canvas for this interaction. After all, what is the physical if not the sensations that affect the neural networks of our brain? Where do sensations come from? How do we know that what we see is not an artifice of brain projection? In this quest for transcendence, man uses the resources at his disposal, and the first act in this projection symbolises this action.
