Monument video mapping

The Video Mapping Festival comes to Quiévrechain with a work on the City Hall that evokes the area’s industrial past and mining history. Discover also 2 creations made by residents of Valenciennes Métropole during participative workshops.

The black and white of the archive photos accompanies us on this journey through the town’s history, bringing us up to the present day and revealing the unique identity of Quiévrechain today.

What if the mining history of the town of Quiévrechain was brought back to life through the art of folded paper? An offbeat take on Quiévrechain’s industrial past, staged like a long animated play, to give you a new way of looking at the mine.
