Video mapping tour
Monument video mapping, on object, immersive mapping, micro mapping… For its closing, the Video Mapping Festival returns to Amiens for a weekend with a mapping on the City Hall and a tour in the Saint-Jacques area to discover the different forms of video mapping.

“KNITOPIA is a piece inspired by a dream I had in my childhood while living in a Japanese housing complex. The idea grew from that faint memory. The ISAI Faidherbe building in Amiens, which once supported the everyday sleep of many people during the postwar turbulence, became a poetic symbol in this work — a place where peaceful imagination can be gently woven into dreams.”

► Nothing Was Still
Nothing Was Still is a poetic video mapping projected on the ISAI Faidherbe building in Amiens — a post-war structure born from fracture, designed in urgency, and preserved as memory.
Through 3 chapters — fracture, form, and memory — the piece turns architecture into emotion.
Using black, white, and red, it reveals the tension and rhythm of the facade.
Light and shadow translate the building’s geometry into a meditation on time and silence.
It explores the illusion of permanence and the quiet motion of history beneath the surface.

Dewailly Cloister – immersive mapping

► Digital Unrealism
The project explores the interplay of digital aesthetics with phenomena of light, the imitation of physical processes and the boundaries of computer generated imageries. The facade of the building undergoes an alteration of aggregate states exploring the increasingly blurred borders between physical and digital realities. The atmospheric animation is projected as a 270° experience in the courtyard of the Dewailly Cloister and is accompanied by a sound scape, composed especially for this purpose.
