Monument video mapping
For the 3rd year running, the City of Roubaix gives the Video Mapping Festival “carte blanche” for 2 evenings in 3 emblematic city centre locations! On the programme: 3 new creations on the City Hall’s facade, for as many approaches to video mapping, and 2 collective works to discover on the Saint-Martin Church and La Piscine Museum’s facade, made by 30 students from the 3 animation schools of Roubaix (ARTFX, ésaat and Piktura) during a 5-day creative challenge.
As a bonus, you can also rediscover previous years’ creations on the church’s facade!
As part of the Nuits des Arts lumineux of Roubaix.

The City Hall suffers a hacking attack that takes the viewer on a pixelated journey.

Inspired by the metallic sound of textile machines, this project makes the link with natural loops, such as dandelions carried away by the wind or the movement of waves.

This mapping plays on the interweaving of abstract forms and figurative representations, an ode to the abundance of nature.
